Friendly Gesture

Chang had been previously impressed by Veri's progress in the dojo, but didn't know how to express his words on her progress. Instead of trying to catch her after the day had gone he decided to approach her as the daylight was disappearing just before the end of their training day, offering her something to eat. It was his mochi with a sweet bean paste filling. He hoped she might like it.
